Why did I receive an automated call from PROMEDICAL?
You received an automated call from our office because we require additional information in order to get your claim resolved.
What information does PROMEDICAL need to get my hospital bill resolved?
In order to get your claim resolved, please provide PROMEDICAL with the name of your insurance carrier, the claim number and the adjuster assigned to your claim. If your bill is not related to a motor vehicle or workers’ compensation accident, please provide us with your health insurance information.
If I was hurt at work, what should I do?
Report the accident to your manager, supervisor, or Human Resources Department as soon as possible to open a claim.
What is a PIP application?
Personal Injury Protection (PIP) is an extension of car insurance available in some US states. It is sometimes referred to as “no fault” coverage.
A PIP application is a form that your auto insurance carrier requires you to fill out with the details of your auto accident. Your medical bills will not be paid until the PIP application is returned to the insurance carrier.
In New York you have 30 days to complete the application.
What is Med-Pay?
Med-Pay is optional coverage that you can elect to have on your auto policy to help pay for medical bills related to a motor vehicle accident.
Why do I have two bills for one date of service?
One bill is for the doctor’s services (HCFA) and the other is for the hospital charges (UB).
